From Coastal Bend Troop Support - Thanks to two Rotarians (JD Simpson and Brian Comrie) and lots of other supportor we have started work on getting our new location ready.
The story:

Our original troop center building was sold in May, so we moved into a small city-owned building to continue our boxing mission. Thankful that we found a place to move our operation to, we still found ourselves cramped into a place not quite suited to our needs. After much searching and hard work, we are finally ready to move into a much larger space, just across the street from the Rockport City Hall on Market Street.

On Sunday, Nov 1, we started painting and cleaning the building at 621 E. Market in Rockport to get it ready to be our new home for our "care" package project. Looking forward to having more room.

We have also kicked off our Christmas project, "Fill a Stocking for a Deserving Troop". Let me know if you want to participate. In order for these to get to our troops we need to have them back into us on the 18th or 20th of Nov. Remember they are going overseas.

Thank you everyone. Your support helps lift the spirit so many troops, letting them know Americans care.
