Taste of Rockport is a “Tantalizing Evening” where you get to sample and taste from 17 local eating establishments. The Rockport Rotary Club has gathered these restaurants and caterers for *One Evening * One Place * One Price*. Paws and Taws, Fulton Convention Center is the location. February 12th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm is the date and time. Live Music, Beer & Wine, and a Live Auction also come as part of the evening.

Allegro Bay Restaurant & Bar, Bellino’s, Bleu Crab Café, Caroline’s Turtle Bay Café, Capt. Benny’s, Cheryl’s By the Bay, Glow, HEB, K-BOBS Steakhouse, Kendrick Farms BBQ, Latitude 28 02, Moondog Seaside Eatery, Paradise Key Dockside Bar and Grill, Redfish Willie’s Waterfront Grill, RFHS Culinary Arts students, Rockport Bakery, and Skinny Bob’s Coneys. Rusty's Tropical Bar & Grill has joined the line-up. Yes, that is 18 restaurants and caterers. We also have the fine wines of Winery on the Bay. Andrews Distributing will be assisting with the beer.

Our Live Auction this year is being developed.We are still finalizing our packages and will post them on our Facebook page – www.Facebook.com/TasteofRockport. Oh yes – we have the Mystery Box again - $10 a ticket for a chance at over $1000 worth of merchandise.

All funds raised through this event go toward scholarships for our graduates from Rockport-Fulton HS. Since 1980 the Scholarship Foundation has awarded $190,000 in scholarships. Last three years combined provided scholarship in excess of $80,000. The Rockport Rotary Club Charles A. Evans Scholarship Foundation is proud to support our youth and future leaders.

All of the above – the tastings from 18 restaurants, live music, beer and wine, live auction – will all be assisted by the Little Bay Sea Queens.
