Showcasing Aransas County's History

Calvin Scholz's program was most enjoyable yesterday as Jackie Shaw, President and Pam Stranahan of the History Center for Aransas County presented "Showcasing Aransas County's History" We were enlightened about the conception of the center and future plans for growth and how we as citizens of Aransas County might contribute to the museum. Next time you clean your attic, be on the lookout for old Rockport memorabilia that might you might be interested donating to the museum to preserve our history. Please keep in mind that the museum only accepts items that are of authentic Rockport origin!
